"It was very unfortunate that during a recent heat wave, my daughter's air conditioning/heating system decided to cease! After thumbing through the yellow pages, we came upon Friendly Electric. Courteous and helpful are two words that come to mind after placing the call to Friendly. Things only got better. We were lucky enough to have Chris assigned to the job. His knowledge was superior and he was a true gentleman. This was not an easy job, considering the temperature topped out at 95 degrees in the condo. Chris was thorough in his explanations and answered all of our questions. We were quite happy once the air was up and running. Unfortunately on Friday evening, the hot water heater caused a problem emitting carbon monoxide. Once again Friendly answered a Friday evening emergency phone call and put our mind at ease. Monday morning Chris arrived and once again solved the crisis. We were very lucky to have picked Friendly Electric from the yellow pages. From owner to technician, you couldn't have asked for a nicer bunch of people to come into your home. Nice & Easy -
"Our new puppy found his way to the electric outlet in our backyard (for the pool filter) and decided to chew it up to pass the time. This happened in the winter time so thank goodness it was turned off. Anyway, not knowing a reliable electrician, we put it off until we couldn't anymore - when we had to open the pool. So, off of a reccommendation from our pool professional, we called Friendly Electric. From that day, things were SO easy. Everyone that we dealt with was friendly, courteous, professional and just plain nice! Chris came out to do the initial estimate and we couldn't be dealing with a better guy. He very obviously knew what he was talking about and immediately put my fiance and I at ease. We booked him on the spot. True to his estimate, about 2 weeks later, all the permits were taken care of and he came out to the house to do the job. He was done in one day and was a pleasure to work with. He was very patient as he explained everything he was doing to me (he had initially explained everything to my fiance since he was supposed to be the one home for this...but plans changed). Chris was also EXTREMELY professional, courteous and polite. Never once did he enter the house without knocking or asking if it was okay. And never once did he trek dirt into the house - as some other contractors have been known to do! Most importantly, the work came in on estimate and the pool has been humming along ever since. I can't say enough about Chris! He even bought a HUGE bone for our puppy - something he could chew on besides electric outlet boxes!! LOL. All in all, a great company of people! "Friendly Electric provided excellent service, from the customer service representatives who answered the phone to the electrician who provided our electrical service. Martin was able to provide emergency repairs to me, at the time quoted. Martin was extremely polite, informative, knowledgeable, clean and prompt. Martin was also able to recommend further repairs and gave a quote. Once an appointment was arranged for additional repairs, Martin arrived promptly, worked within the time estimated, and charge the estimated fee. "The office staff at Friendly Electric treat their customers as they would want to be treated. We were scheduled promptly for our ceiling fan installation and Kathy kept me informed when the electrician would arrive. Matt arrived on time, was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He offered a couple of options regarding the installation and accepted my decision without pressuring me to take the more expensive option. He also checked the condition of our circuit box and connections from a safety perspective. Outstanding Job -
"We called Friendly Electric to request an electrician to repair a faulty outlet behind our refrigerator & to fix the refrigerator plug (which was damaged by the same outlet). Friendly Electric sent Matt out to us and we were so thankful. We were so impressed by how knowledgeable he was, and his pleasant demeanor immediately put us at ease. He did such a great job, that we asked him to take a look at some additional outlets in the basement that no longer worked. Last year, we had called another electrician from a different company to replace a different outlet & to take a look at the same non-working basement outlets. That electrician told us that he would need to come back another day with a second person to fix the basement outlets. I really can't say anything negative about Friendly Electric. They delivered everything they promised, and more. On time, on budget and outstanding work. The inspector even commented on the quality and organization of the wiring, which is not that easy to come by. If you're looking for electric work, you can't go wrong here ...highly recommended.
